Hussl Alpin

The ​“Hussl Alpin” furniture series grew out of our fascination with the archaic furniture of the Alpine region. For the culture magazine ​“Quart” we wrote an article 11 years ago about the Stube and the numerous usage scenarios of its simple benches along the wall. An exhibition contribution for AUT — Architecture and Tyrol — brought us together with Peter Hussl. Together we explored different scales of the alpine bench, from footstool to shelter. This poetic work has now given rise to the furniture that we have brought back to the place of its inspiration for photography: the Höfemuseum in Kramsach.
